You too are a partner in writing your own Torah scroll!
Writing a Torah scroll is a great mitzvah, usually performed once in a lifetime. We see great importance in your participation in the process of writing the Torah scroll.
We invite you to participate in the writing process in the following way:
1. The experience of beginning to write. This can be a small experience, for the person ordering the book and their immediate family, or a large experience, for the extended family, and perhaps even the community. During the experience, you learn about writing a Torah scroll in a fascinating way, while experimenting with writing and operating the Stam testing software. And of course, you celebrate the beginning of writing the Torah scroll you ordered.
2. A visit to the Satam Center, whenever you choose (by prior arrangement) to see up close the progress of writing the book.
3. Sewing the covers We invite you to participate in sewing the covers after the book is written and the glosses are completed. You sew the book covers yourself.
4. Introducing the Torah Scroll We come to you to write the final letters, and introduce the Torah Scroll to the synagogue with singing and dancing.

About our Torah scrolls
"And now they wrote this poem for you"
The mitzvah of writing a Torah scroll is a unique mitzvah that is usually granted only once in a lifetime. Since most of the public is not familiar with the laws of writing a Torah scroll and are not skilled in it, the mitzvah is performed by a messenger.
In order to enable elegant writing with the care befitting this important mitzvah, we write the Torah scrolls only after a unique mission appointment, so that from the first letter you write, the mitzvah will be in your name.
The writing of Torah scrolls at the Kesherei Tefillin Center is characterized by great uniqueness:
- The writing is done using the Shamir quill, a unique quill that is approved by all opinions. The quill is made of porcelain and does not contain iron or any other metallic material. Writing with the quill allows for high-level writing and excellent quality. You can also order a particularly small Torah scroll.
- The Kosher Center of the Samaria Region has been certified by Rabbi Elyakim Levanon - Rabbi of Samaria, Rabbi Reuven Uziel - Rabbi of Northern Samaria, and Tal Menashe, and a recommendation from the Gaon Rabbi Dov Lior.
- Proofreading – The Torah scroll undergoes manual proofreading and two computer proofreadings. You receive the computer proofreading disc.
- You can order a Sephardic, Yemenite or Ashkenazi Torah scroll (in the Arizal or Beit Yosef style).
- Personal and experiential guidance – In order to provide a full connection to the commandment of writing a Torah scroll, you will receive guidance and guidance in all decision-making processes related to writing the book.
- Be partners in the beginning of writing. The beginning of writing event can be a personal and intimate event, or a family/community event, during which you experiment with writing, and learn a little about the rules of writing a Torah scroll in a fascinating way.
- Take part in sewing the Torah scroll sheets, you will feel like you are truly part of the action. We encourage you to come and sew some of the sheets. You can share with your family (some families hold an event around sewing the sheets).
- And of course, writing the final letters and bringing the Torah scroll into the synagogue.
- Full responsibility for the book.
